The Connecticut Senate approved a marijuana legalization bill. The measure now heads to the House, which plans to send it to Gov. Ned Lamont (D) by the end of the session on Wednesday.
Louisiana lawmakers sent a bill to decriminalize marijuana to Gov. John Bel Edwards (D). Last week the legislature also voted to add smokable flower to the state’s medical cannabis program.
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak (D) signed a bill legalizing marijuana social consumption lounges.

The Delaware House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on a marijuana legalization bill on Thursday. It needs a supermajority to pass, and Gov. John Carney (D) governor opposes the reform, but advocates think it’s doable.
The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is set to vote this week on a bill to let scientists study marijuana that consumers are actually purchasing from dispensaries instead of just using government-grown cannabis in research. It would also allow interstate transportation of the product to researchers in places that haven’t yet legalized.
The Drug Enforcement Administration will host an event about its efforts to interdict drug shipments on June 17.
